About Me

For the majority of my life I have found great satisfaction in helping people. I have had the privilege of supporting people in a diverse number of ways and have gained extensive experience. This gives me a rich depth in understanding and compassion for every person’s unique experience.

I have experience of counselling primary school aged children, secondary school aged children and adults.

In addition to my counselling experience I have worked for many years in a charity that supports people who are long term unemployed, as well as disadvantaged members of the community. I also have significant experience of working with young people who have either been excluded from school, who have been to prison or who were school refusers in a Department Manager capacity, as well as as a Young People’s Counsellor.

I also have experience of working in the public sector, supporting families who were experiencing various challenges. In particular my work focused on giving support to families during periods of transition, such as those receiving various new diagnoses for their children, and the practical and emotional complexities and impact that arise from experiencing such transitions.

I am a member of BACP (MBACP) and the ACC and abide by their ethical frameworks for counselling professions. I counsel from comfortable therapy rooms conveniently located in Ruislip and Pinner in Greater London.
